On Saturday, September 26, 2009 Heartbeat International will present its second season of Dancing with the Stars Tampa Bay, an interactive Ballroom Dance Competition.  The event will be held at the stunning Marriott Waterside Tampa and will feature epicurean delights, phenomenal auction items and remarkable entertainment by Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Tampa Bay.  This exciting and innovative black-tie affair capitalizes on the current national popularity of ballroom dancing, reality based television and the overwhelming success of our event last year.

Dancing with the Stars Tampa Bay 2009, chaired by one of Tampa Bay’s most notable and community involved individuals, Gold & Diamond Source owner Julie Weintraub. Both Julie and Chair Emeritus, Michael Stewart, owner of 717 South have already received great interest and are poised to carry on the legacy of last year’s night of Shining Stars! The lasting impact this event has had continues to enable Heartbeat International to provide life saving cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators and other implantable cardiac devices to needy patients in developing countries around the world.
